Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of pneumatic actuators

info-500-300

Installation, debugging, and maintenance

1. Pneumatic actuators can be directly connected to valves or installed and connected to valves through brackets and fittings.
2. During installation, it is necessary to ensure the coaxiality between the output shaft of the pneumatic actuator and the valve shaft.
3. The pipe joints and interior of the pipeline should be cleaned thoroughly and free of excess material. Dust and oil stains, etc.
4. Electromagnetic valves, electrical positioners, electrical converters, pneumatic positioners, and feedback devices should be installed and debugged according to the relevant instructions.
5. The adjustment screws at both ends of the pneumatic actuator can adjust the opening angle of the valve slightly, and after adjustment, the nuts must be tightened.
6. Pneumatic actuators and valves should be debugged and adjusted. The valve should be pressurized to the rated pressure, and the actuator should be operated at a gas source pressure of 0.4~0.7
Mpa switches between two air intakes and observes the opening and closing of the valves. The rotation should be flexible without pause or crawling, and multiple repeated tests should be conducted.
7. When installing the pneumatic actuator of the solenoid valve, manual button operation (red button on the solenoid valve) should be used for debugging first, and then power on for debugging.
8. The air source should be kept dry and clean, and the air filter used in conjunction with the actuator should be regularly waterproofed and drained. Under normal use, it should be inspected once a month and repaired once a year.
