2, The gate valves are adapted to most of the switching operations and public utilities in all temperature ranges. In a vibrational operation, the gate valves may be opened or closed from their normal position.
3, The check valve has various forms, including swing, lift, ball, piston and separate disc swing check valve. Orifice for liquids than for gases over a large plate. The piston type check valve designed for the gas pipe can not be used for the liquid operation unless the hole plate in the piston is replaced.
4, Ordinary butterfly valves are suitable for rough throttle and low pressure, hydrocarbon free and dangerous operation. They are not suitable to be used as important shutoff valves such as containers and tanks. A non linear butterfly valve should be applied when the temperature is higher than the 65°C or the pressure level is higher than the ASME 150 or the dangerous fluid.
5, Needle valve is basically small cut-off valve. They are often used as turn off valves for instruments and pressure gauges, for small flow throttling of instrument air, natural gas and hydraulic fluids, and for reducing pressure fluctuation of instrument pipes. The channel of the needle valve is very small, and it is very easy to block. It should be considered when using it.
